snow planet

 Yesterday me and everyone in my class and people from other classes went to snow planet . we got on the bus and we went to snow planet . When we got there we sat outside on the benches and then we went inside and we put on our gear . I showed them wat size I was and they gave me boots and I put those on and then I went and got gloves and I put those on and then after I put my gloves on I put on my helmet and then I put my shoes in my bag and I waited until we could get into the room . 

And when eveyone was ready we went into the room called winter wonderland and then we were being told the rules by one of the instructors and then we went to the sleds and tubes . I went on the sleds first after everyone was on the tubes and I grabbed my sled and I went down the lane and When I was at the bottom I got up and went back up and I went down again . And when I was going down  the lane I was going past people and then after I was done going down the lane with the sleds I went to the lane with tubes and I had a turn going down before it was time to  go . When it was time to go I took my gear off and I put it back and I put my shoes on and I put my bag on and we went outside and sat on the benches and we ate our lunch before we went back on the bus . 

James and his car

One day there was a man named James. He was looking for a  car to buy because the car he had was one of his friend’s cars and he was washing his friends car and using the car too.  But it was almost  the end of the year and his friend was coming back soon,  so he started looking at some cars .

The  first one he saw was a  green one,  then he saw a blue car  and after that he saw a red car. The red car had only two seats and the red car was fast  but the blue one  had only four seats but the blue one was bigger than the red car.

Then he went to  the green car and the green car had no roof but the wheels  were green and black. So he got the green car because green was one of his favourite coluors and he got that car. Now James did not have to use his friend's yellow car anymore because he had his own car now.

This is the last day of term 1

I am very excited that it's the last day of term 1. I am also very happy because I have been doing a lot of reading in term one. The things that I want to work on is my maths .


The things that I would do for next term is to do a lot of maths at home and school. I also want to learn all my timetables at home and work on speaking more
to make things better next term.

I felt amazing working in room 10 because of all the teachers and students that were supporting me.

Winter poem

I see children making snowmen out of white snow

I hear lots of rain pouring down on the roof

I smell tea coming from the kitchen

I feel cold outside when it’s winter time

I taste yummy tea and cookies made by Mum

The animal that I would like to be.

I would like to be a tiger because they do cool things and they are meat-eaters and they are species of the cat family. They are  carnivores which means they are meat-eaters. If you look at a tigers eyes then he will kill you. Tigers have black stripes and orange skin and a tail. Tigers are fast and they have very sharp teeth to eat its food tigers are also strong

That's why i would like to be a tiger.

How to make Chocolate Chip Buscits

Purpose: Instructions on how to make Chocolate Chip Biscuits

Ingredients:

75 g butter,

1\2 cup white sugar,

1 large egg,

1\2 cup chocolate chips,

1\2 tsp baking soda,

11\4 cups plain flour.

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 180C (170C fan bake). Line an oven tray with baking paper or a non-stick liner.

2. Microwave butter in a microwave-proof bowl for 1 minute. Add sugars and eggs and beat with a fork until mixed thoroughly.

3. Sprinkle chocolate chips into the bowl. Measure baking soda and flour into a sieve placed over the bowl, shake them into the bowl and mix everything well.

4. Roll the mixture into 12 equalled-sized balls. Place these on the tray,  leaving  room  for  spreading,  and gently flatten to about 1cm thick (The mixture firms up a little on standing-if it is too soft to form into balls initially, you can spoon it out of the tray.)

5. Bake just below the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes on until golden -brown-a fan oven is likely to cook the biscuits more quickly

warm, Lift  them onto a cooling rack, then the shape and cook the rest of the mixture the same way .

6. When biscuits are cold, stove in an airtight container/jar.
