How to make Chocolate Chip Buscits

Purpose: Instructions on how to make Chocolate Chip Biscuits

Ingredients:
75 g butter,
1\2 cup white sugar,
1 large egg,
1\2 cup chocolate chips,
1\2 tsp baking soda,
11\4 cups plain flour.

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180C (170C fan bake). Line an oven tray with baking paper or a non-stick liner.

2. Microwave butter in a microwave-proof bowl for 1 minute. Add sugars and eggs and beat with a fork until mixed thoroughly.

3. Sprinkle chocolate chips into the bowl. Measure baking soda and flour into a sieve placed over the bowl, shake them into the bowl and mix everything well.

4. Roll the mixture into 12 equalled-sized balls. Place these on the tray,  leaving  room  for  spreading,  and gently flatten to about 1cm thick (The mixture firms up a little on standing-if it is too soft to form into balls initially, you can spoon it out of the tray.)

5. Bake just below the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes on until golden -brown-a fan oven is likely to cook the biscuits more quickly
warm, Lift  them onto a cooling rack, then the shape and cook the rest of the mixture the same way .

6. When biscuits are cold, stove in an airtight container/jar.

Conclusion: Finally you can enjoy your Chocolate Chip Biscuits.

A dog named Nick

It was Saturday and Josh and Andy woke up and had their breakfast  and
they went to the pet shop . They bought a dog and called him Nick but
he was a little weird .

He ran like crazy around the house and he also pushed all their stuff off. He
even jumped on Josh and woke him up instead of his alarm. Four weeks later the dog woke him up by scratching them. Then Nick started making trouble again.

Andy was about to take Nick back when Josh started to do something
about it. Josh and Andy started buying Nick dog biscuits and doggy treats and soon Nick
stopped making a mess.

Author Lauren Tarshis
Storyline This book is about the explosion of a volcano and the destructIon of the city of Pompeli  and a boy who tries to warn the people of Pompeii .
What I liked best was that a giant snake scared a person.
What I didn't like was when the city was slowly  forgotten .
Illustrations were few
The book was Interesting and i enjoyed reading it.
Word difficulty it was just right
Favourite character was the boy
Recommendation highly recommended for reading by Jino

How do rainbows occur?

1.Rainbows happen when sunlight and rain combine in a very specific way.
2. The beams of sunlight separate into the colours we see in the rainbow as they enter a raindrop.
3.  Sunlight is actually made up of different colours that we don’t usually see.
4.  When a beam of sunlight comes down to Earth, the light is white.
5.  But, if the light beam happens to hit raindrops on the way down at a certain angle, the different colours that make up the beam separate so that we can see them — in the form of a rainbow.
6. There are seven colours in the rainbow, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, indigo and violet.
